This is the blog of our Early Childhood students at Wilkes Community College, Educational Technology class, Summer 08. It is a hybrid course meaning students do most of their work online, meeting only three times for an 8 weeks course. Most of us don't even know what a blog is or why we would use it. So here goes an experiment!

Ellen I got here with the question. It is interacting with others like on the youtube. This would be good to get to know people form other places. To expand my thinking and experiences with others. I could get to know how others think about things. It also allows me to find out things I need to Know or just want to know.
Yes, I got here.
This is a social activity also.
It might not be so bad after all.
I did not write the question because I didn't think we should. It would defeat the whole project.
I also understand your email from this video and the suggestion he made.
Social networking is the same as communicating with others around you, like your neighbors except this is online. I would use it to meet and see different people. If you stay in a bubble what's the fun in that?
Social networking is a way to seek connection and bond with others. It focuses on shared conections between people, and online communitities help with fostering this.
