This is the blog of our Early Childhood students at Wilkes Community College, Educational Technology class, Summer 08. It is a hybrid course meaning students do most of their work online, meeting only three times for an 8 weeks course. Most of us don't even know what a blog is or why we would use it. So here goes an experiment!

Social networking allows us to know everything that is going on in the world around us instantly. With technology everything is at out fingertips.
I think that social networking is ok if done the right way. There is some much that we can see going on around. It amazes me how tech is so advanced that we are access to whatever we want.
After watching these videos I can see an advantage to social networking as long as your safe about it. It would be real nice to find somebody you haven't seen in 15 years or longer.
