This is the blog of our Early Childhood students at Wilkes Community College, Educational Technology class, Summer 08. It is a hybrid course meaning students do most of their work online, meeting only three times for an 8 weeks course. Most of us don't even know what a blog is or why we would use it. So here goes an experiment!

This man is an advocate for the aging and he posts videos regularly on youtube. He won awards in England. His name is geriatric1927 in case you wish to watch other videos of his on youtube, you can just search him out. He also runs a web site for the aging. He is 86 years old.
I feel that if aging people have the time and want to do something like youtube to pass time, there is nothing wrong with it.
I think that youtube is a friend and companion for some aged people.
I have see this man before while my son was on Youtube.
You tube is a way to pass time and find friends for everyone.
This gent is using his time wisely instead of fading away.
My Answer directly to the question is: Yes, there is something somewhere on youtube for all ages.
I believe that youtube is just not only for the young. I think that it is for all ages. There is so many interesting things on youtube and older people can find enjoyment out of it.
I was kind if surprised to see an man of his age on youtube, but really, I can see it's for anyone and everyone. What really counts is how a person uses it. I'm glad he's found something that interests him, because alot of elderly people don't have a clue about the internet, or how to use a computer.
