This is the blog of our Early Childhood students at Wilkes Community College, Educational Technology class, Summer 08. It is a hybrid course meaning students do most of their work online, meeting only three times for an 8 weeks course. Most of us don't even know what a blog is or why we would use it. So here goes an experiment!

No one should post anything they don't want others to see or read. We all know that it open to everyone who has internet. You have the right to place video's on the net but remember think about the consequences.
If someone does open up a MySpace page, it's like they are inviting others to get to know them. A person has a right to do this but that person doesn't need to make a big deal if someone else judges them from what that have read about them.
People don't think about who might be looking at MySpace or the other places where their videos can be seen. As both Nadine and Erika have already pointed out in their posts, you just don't know who will be looking at your video. If you should do something crazy and someone of importance sees it, it could cost you your job and it may also ruin your reputation, especially if you had a good reputation. We need to think about these things ahead of time, and how things we do on video can come back to haunt us later.
People should not post things that they feel are private to them. Things that are private should be left to themselves. Only display things that are ok for others to know.
